Voice of the Tide
Beyond the burst of birds,
flowing pure and wide,
your voice I sense within me-
words reverberating through my head
thunder churning on the sea,
the pulse of waves,
steady and strong,
calling me-
to face into the dawn-
to see the world anew-
beyond the shoeless shore.
