I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to have turned in the five lessons to Barclay Press tonight. I have loved writing them, it is the kind of work I am very good at and that refreshes me. At the same time, it was the kind of challenge that is the next step up so I learned a lot too. I don’t think it was coincidental at all that after getting back from such a transforming trip, I was digging into the psalms discussing issues like leadership, the earth, our relationship with God, and our relationships with others. It goes back to that well known truth that you learn the most by teaching and that was certainly the case here.
One of my next major projects is to get pictures printed up from my trip. It is going to take some time to select the ones I want from the safari especially. I can only guess how many pictures of each animal I have and it is going to be a process to select the best ones. This is the picture I currently have on my desktop. It’s taken by Lake Nakuru and if you look closely at the lake behind us, the pink dots are all flamingos which is the what the lake is famous for.
